😍 Our three core values are Respect, Responsibility and Growth Mindset. 😎 Every week, our secondary team will choose one person from across the three classes to receive awards for demonstrating each of these three values. 👍 The award is a certificate and ten house points, as well as the recognition which comes from having the award presented in assembly.
DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time and outside play are an essential part of our daily routine here at Heritage. 📚During DEAR time, the students develop their reading stamina, build up their vocabulary and enjoy reading shoulder to shoulder with friends. ⛹️‍♀️ Outside play is very important for a balanced development of our students as it enhances communication skills and the spirit of our school. 💕 These two activities align with our main values: Respect, Responsibility and Growth Mindset.
🎉 Today we had our first Assembly of the new study year at Heritage School! It was very successful, kids were very well behaved and listened really well! 👨‍🎓 The theme was - "Our daily routine". Each day when coming to school children have several things to do: have their temperature measured, take off their coats in changing room, enjoy their breakfast, clear their plates and follow to their class, being prepared to study! 📑 Children agreed that they can do the routine themselves - without help from parents, teachers and learning assistants. We'll always be there to support - but to support the children in doing this on their own. 👍 This is an embodiment of one of our core values - responsibility. By taking ownership of their school day and taking responsibility for getting to class, our children become more effective, proud and independent learners.
What joy and happiness to see our Heritage Family gathered at our school today! We were delighted to meet our old and new friends, to see their smiling faces and hear them laughing. We had a very interesting program today: stilts walker welcoming our children and their parents, delicious snacks and drinks, a warm welcome from our CEO, Head of School, Head Girl and Head Boy, a marvellous surprise piano performance from Mr Matthew and a song from our student Alina. We also built with huge LEGO and enjoyed amazing face painting. All the children met their new teachers and had their first fun lesson of the year. Thank you everybody for joining us and making this a day to remember.
🥰 Our teachers are waiting for meeting with their dearest students. 😎 Let us introduce Dr Oliver Squires. Dr Squires will be the form tutor for Year 9 and he will teach Science and Global Perspectives to all pupils in secondary. Good luck, mr Oliver! Nice to meet you!
Heritage Family is growing day by day! We are happy to present you our new team members. Please, welcome! Mr Craig Edmondson will be the form tutor for Year 8 and he will teach Mathematics and Computing to all pupils in secondary. Good luck, mr Craig!
Dear Heritage parents! We would like to invite you to our Orientation Day which will be held on Monday, 30th August. All families are invited to come to school between 14:00 and 18:00 to meet their child’s teachers and have a look around the school. Textbooks and other materials will be ready to collect, and there will be a chance for you to ask any questions that you might have. Appointments are not necessary; come when you like!
😍 The next school year our Year six students are moving to Secondary School. Let's have a look at what they are going to study: 🤩 Cambridge Lower Secondary (Years Seven to Nine) Pupils continue their study in the same subjects as in Cambridge Primary: - English (first or second language) - Mathematics - Science - Global Perspectives - Digital Literacy - Physical Education - Music - Art Each subject has a framework and programme of study and is supported by high-quality textbooks which are endorsed by Cambridge. 🥳 Cambridge Upper Secondary From Year Ten onwards, pupils have significantly more options as to the subjects they study. English, Mathematics and Science are considered core subjects and all pupils will normally study these. However, all other subjects are optional, and up to eight may be chosen. Cambridge offers over seventy subjects for the IGCSE Examinations. 😎 Cambridge Advanced In Year Twelve, pupils specialize further, and choose three or four subjects to study for the International A-Level qualification at the end of Year Thirteen. One of these subjects will normally be the subject intended for university study. International A-Levels are accepted by virtually all English-speaking universities worldwide as entrance qualifications. Please, contact our admissions to learn more about studying at Heritage International School by phone: 8-800-555-19-79

😍 We are so proud of our Year 2 and Year 6 graduates! 🤩 Our kids managed to show their best this year! They passed all the exams with fantastic success and we are waiting for them the next year. ✌ We are sure that they will change our world in future! 🥰 Miss you so much!
🤓Bilinguals are native speakers of two languages. This means that they can alternately use them in everyday life, without mentally translating from one language to another. ✌️Bilingual people learn new languages and socialize more easily. They have better communication skills and broader horizons, they flexibly adapt to new realities inherent in another culture. Bilingualism has a positive effect on the brain throughout life. 🤩It is possible to grow up a bilingual in a Russian-speaking family in Russia. For example, at Heritage School, due to the fact that babies spend most of the day in an English-speaking environment, they can grow into full-fledged natural bilinguals! ⭐️The bilingual kindergarten at Heritage School accepts children from the age of 2. Our youngest students begin to speak both languages almost at the same time.
🏊‍♀️ Heritage Summer School provides full range of activities! ❤️ Today we went to swimming pool. Children learnt different techniques of swimming such as freestyle, backstroke, flutter kick, frog kick and etc. It was fantastic! Well done, kids!
