Ms Lize
Year 1 Teacher
Education
Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa
Ms Lize graduated from the prestigious Tshwane University of Technology in South Africa in 2016. As the eldest of three children, she has always loved working with children, even from a young age such as sixteen years old. Ms Lize started working with children by assisting her dance teacher before qualifying as a teacher herself. She has choreographed dance routines for students between the ages of three and eighteen. Ms Lize has adjudicated dance competitions and dance examinations in South Africa as she is a qualified and experienced dance and choreography teacher, assessor, and adjudicator. She has worked at a kindergarten as a teacher as well as tutored children between the ages of seven to thirteen in various subjects, following the IB’s (International Baccalaureate) curriculum.
Ms Lize's main goal as a teacher is to uplift students and to show them that learning can be fun. She likes to inspire children to think outside the box and to be courageous when approaching live. The best part of being a teacher is when she sees children apply what they have been taught. Those are the moments when she realizes yet again why she loves teaching. In her spare time, Ms Lize enjoys photography, as there is nothing greater than seeing the world around you through a lens and experience true beauty. She also enjoys creative writing by writing about her own experiences or some she has witnessed, converting it into beautiful stories. Ms Lize is proud and honored to be part of Heritage International School as she has a deep-rooted respect and affinity for the Russian people and their culture, and teaching at the school is as much a learning experience as it is a teaching experience.
