Mr Alexander

Mr Alexander is a dedicated Year 1 teacher who brings a unique bicultural perspective to the classroom. A graduate of American University's School of International Relations in Washington, D.C., with a B.A. in International Studies, his academic focus was on Russia and Eastern Europe. This focus was deeply personal, as his Russian roots sparked a lifelong passion for bridging cultures and improving relations between the United States and Russia. He believes that language education is one of the most powerful tools to achieve this.

His journey of cross-cultural discovery began in 2015 after falling in love with Moscow during a summer program at MGIMO. In 2020, he decided to make the city his permanent home, enrolled PGCE course and has been teaching English to learners of all ages, particularly young learners, ever since. Beyond the classroom, he enjoys an active and creative lifestyle. He enjoys playing the guitar, running, playing tennis, and loves cooking delicious meals in the kitchen.

For Mr Alexander, teaching is about much more than just grammar and vocabulary. He views education as a bridge that connects people across cultures. The most rewarding part of his job is witnessing the moment a student gains the confidence to express themselves in a new language, opening doors to endless connections and opportunities.
