Regarding my background, I was born in Siberia, which definitely defines my personality and general attitude towards life and work. As a motto I would choose a phrase "If you want to go fast - go alone, if you want to go far - go together". I've been working in the sphere of tertiary education for 14 years, before I joined Heritage team. My career path started from Teacher Assistant and Senior Lecturer and lead me to the positions of Head of University's Project Office and Expert in International and Corporate Programs. As an educator, I usually strive to spark my students with passion for new knowledge discovery. I guess, teachers and those who work with kids deal with magic on a daily basis. They observe how kids grow, they nurture their personalities, they act as role models being simultaneously ordinary humans.
Education is a never-ending process and this fact excites me greatly. Imagine, even when kids are just playing outside, or just sitting and day-dreaming, education or their inner personal growth or new knowledge acquisition, whatever you call it , still goes on and on and on... Many of my ex-students still stay in touch and share their successes and failures with me. This personal strings are truly important for me. While working at the University, I've also implemented some projects which are still flourishing, like Students' Projects Festival Hive, etc. Some projects that you start literally from scratch and nurture to the tangible results with lots of people involved, that's usually challenging though really rewarding and definitely pays off.

I've been into Arts for many years, though not usual, as many may think, but martial, Karate in particular. I'm also keen on fishing on the lap of nature as this helps me to recharge and meditate. Travelling is also on the list of my passions. I enjoy both travelling to remote destinations, usually off the beaten track and short two-three days road trips across Russia.
