Tyumen is my small homeland that is always in my heart for its distinctive and diverse cultural and architectural landscape and bright citizens. From an early age, I was interested in history as a discipline that allows not only to examine the artefacts of the bygone era but also to explore how people of the past thought and talked about their experience. While studying in university, I became interested in childhood studies including children's material culture and psychology. My passion was developing within my academic field and resulted in an independent research on how pedagogical practices constructed children's world in the first half of the nineteenth century. I believe that now I am ready to realise my knowledge and interest in children's psychology and education in the present!

I believe the most exciting part of the educational process in the dialogue between teacher and pupil in which the last one is not afraid to ask any question. If child is willing to ask for an explanation or additional information, it means he recognises himself as an agent of educational process and reflects on the acquired knowledge and his attitude to it. I believe it is my research on how pedagogical practices constructed children's world in the first half of the nineteenth century which later became the basis for my BA-thesis.

I really enjoy crocheting! Most of all, I like crocheting funny bucket hats. This hobby is amazing because you can take pleasure in both process and the product. The process of choosing a yarn, imagining how the result will look like and making it stitch by stitch is relaxing. Besides, the completed bucket hat will make your day every time you wear it.
