I was born in the North East of England in 1993, I became in love with sport at an early age, playing football since I could walk. I continued my passion for sport in school and college where I was awarded sports student of the year, whilst also developing myself as a developmental football coach for ages 3-6yrs at Sunderland Football Club. I successfuy passed all my qualifications at college and went on to study at Manchester City football club, gaining massive experience and knowledge in the sports industry, learning teaching and coaching techniques, which have helped me grow as a educator. I qualified university with a 2:1 Bachelor's Degree.
I came to Russia, Moscow in 2017, working for a private football school, British Football School. Our aim was to help grow football in a social and developmental setting, giving all children an opportunity to develop in a fun, social and competitive environment. I gained a great repor with many international Schools across Moscow, where I taught private football clubs and helped increase and develop their P.E curriculum through English and International sports programs. Now I find myself developing a similar program, offering the same wisdom and opportunity for children to grow and develop themselves in a fun, social and competitive environment at Heritage School.
Watching children grow in confidence. I believe if a child is enjoying the process of learning, then they will learn, absorb key knowledge and develop at a quicker level. Children shouldn't be molded, but should be given the opportunity to grow, learn and express themselves.
Gaining a successful reputation in a foreign country. I believe that I have given hundreds of children a platform to grow in conference both socially and competitively. In my lessons, I provide a specific teaching method of imagination (age specific), cohesion and individual and team development, where even the most shy and nervous children express themselves, and find a common passion for sport. This is the proudest feeling as a teacher.
