Ms Daria wanted to be a teacher as long as she can remember herself. Her journey towards her purpose began at school. She was looking at her teachers and thinking “I want to be like them!” Ms Daria started from little things like helping her friends with homework or being a tutor. Especially tutoring showed her that it might be her vocation. Every time she finishes a lesson, she feels good but empty, as if she took some part of her or her knowledge and gave it to her student. That is the best feeling she has ever experienced. After she graduated from university, she figured, “Why not go to China and teach little kids some English?” So that what she did.

The two years in China has been very rich, particularly in meeting new people and new experiences. Working with children never felt like a job! Looking back at her exceptional time in Chinese school and kindergarten, ms Daria understands how much unique experience she has gained. Ms Daria has been working as an ESL teacher at Heritage School since the very beginning and still cannot believe her luck! That is a huge step for her. «Our school has only highly experienced teachers so I am always trying to learn from them as well as from our wonderful little students.»
