Sales Manager

Responsibilities
- Sales execution: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals, demonstrating strong sales performance;
- Lead Generation: Generate a stream of qualified leads and prospects through various methods, such as networking, cold calling, referrals, and attending industry events;
- Sales Strategy: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that encompasses target customer segments, value proposition, competitive positioning, and effective sales tactics to maximize sales opportunities;
- Sales expansion: Identify and penetrate new clients in different markets, regions, or territories;
- Customer Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in schools and educational institutions (such as school administrators, IT directors, and procurement managers), understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and building trust as a long-term partner;
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Deliver compelling and persuasive product presentations and demonstrations that showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of our Product, tailored to the unique requirements of each school;
- Customer Development: Conduct Effective Problem Interviews with leads and customers;
- Effectively negotiate pricing, contracts, and licensing agreements to secure profitable deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success;
- Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities, differentiate our product, and adjust sales strategies accordingly;
- Collaboration with team: Collaborate with development, marketing, customer service, Legal, Finance employees to align sales strategies with product enhancements, close deals and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation;
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, provide regular reports and forecasts to management, and utilize sales analytics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize sales efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, business administration, marketing, or a related field;
- Proven experience in Education industry (as School Teacher, Head of Curriculum, Head of School);
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the education technology (EdTech) sector or related industries will be an advantage;
- Understanding of the education industry, particularly the needs and challenges faced by schools in managing student information;
- Familiarity with global education programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Assessment International Education;
- Understanding the curriculum frameworks, assessment methods, and administrative requirements of these programs;
- Knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and methodologies, with a focus on consultative selling and relationship building;
- Communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner;
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset;
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer pain points and propose effective solutions;
- Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, manage accounts, and measure sales performance;
- Proficiency in using productivity tools such as email, spreadsheets, presentations, and online meeting platforms.
